Madalene M. Zwick, MA, RDN, LDN is a holistic Registered Dietitian Nutritionist dedicated to helping individuals navigate today’s overwhelming and often confusing world of nutrition information. With so much advice circulating through social media, online platforms, and supplement marketing, Madalene provides clear, evidence-based guidance tailored to each person’s unique health history, goals, and lifestyle.
After raising and homeschooling her children, Madalene returned to higher education with a deepened sense of purpose. She earned both her Bachelor of Science degree (Cum Laude) and Master of Arts in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University in Pennsylvania, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM).
Madalene brings broad clinical experience from hospitals, pediatric medical day care, long-term care, assisted living, behavioral health, addictions recovery, and outpatient practice. She provides nutrition counseling for diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, digestive disorders, kidney disease, and disordered eating, and she supports individuals in substance use recovery.
With the growing recognition of the powerful connection between food, gut health, and brain function, Madalene has increasingly focused her work on mindful eating, emotional eating, stress eating, and eating disorders. She has pursued extensive continuing education in areas including Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). Her advanced training includes conferences, webinars, lectures, and self-study coursework on ARFID, intuitive eating, and eating disorder treatment.
Madalene’s approach is holistic and compassionate. She understands that life is more than what we eat, and health is more than numbers on a lab report. True wellness begins with nourishing the body with real food while honoring the profound connection between food and mood. Above all, she brings a listening ear and a supportive presence, helping clients build sustainable habits and develop a healthier relationship with food—one rooted in knowledge, balance, and self-compassion.
