Meet Michael Como, Practice Owner – FNP, CRNP, MSN at Primary Prevention Center in Newtown, PA

Michael is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and the founder of Primary Prevention Center. Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University, and his Master of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University and he has been working in healthcare for the past 10 years.

Michael is also a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Whether it be on a medical surgical unit, the operating room, the ER, acute in-patient rehabilitation, or the primary care setting, he has seen the devastating effects that chronic disease can have on his patients and their families.

Realizing that his patients needed more guidance, education, and support regarding their lifestyle choices and the positive effects that these choices can have on their lives, he opened the Primary Prevention Center in February 2023.

His goal and motivation are to help patients take back control of their health by preventing, treating, and, in some cases, reversing chronic disease through professionally monitored lifestyle modification.
